Exasperated by the poor results from a number of cult cleansers I decided to give this a go. Why didn't I try this product sooner? It has a slightly lighter texture than some other famous cleansers, a blob the size of a 10p piece gently massaged into the face feels soothing, cooling and also removes even bullet proof make up. It has the added bonus that you don't need to follow it with a toner due to the fact it balances the skin's pH. Within a week the spots were beginning to fade, my skin felt smooth and hydrated without looking greasy, and my friends commented on how much clearer my skin was looking. I love it and use other products in the range. This cleanser seems to suit my skin and is so gentle and non-greasy really seems to sort out problems and gets your skin really clean without drying or stripping. It is non-irritating and doesn't dry out the skin. It removes all make-up, including waterproof mascara. The secret is not in the amount you use, but in the gentle massaging which seems to break up the make-up. Leave for 1 or 2 mins, wipe off with a hot cloth then rinse with water. Amazingly, my face felt "balanced" instead of dry. I am 50 and entering menopause so my skin's a bit messed-up right now. Well, alpha-h are of great assistance here, thank you! I've previously used Liz Earle and Elemis, which I really like, but I'm afraid I had to purchase the Alpha-H 4-piece kit on repeat order! I recommended it to my friend and she's a convert too. August 16, 2012 Rated 5 out of 5 by mumofthree69 REVIEW No2 Already reviewed this item in the duo but felt i had to share this little gem of knowledge with you all.....I dont know where i heard or saw this but it really works.....if you apply this onto 2 WET cottonpads, gently spread the mixture so it covers them then apply to your eyes as if it was a cold compress and leave them on for a few minutes this removes even stubborn, waterproof mascara, thus stopping the need for either a seperate eye make-up remover or rubbing your eyes. It does what a cleanser should do: cleans the skin without stripping or irritating it. Lovely light weight texture that removes easily with a muslin cloth leaving no residue on the skin (that's the way I use it). Perfect for removing makeup. Can’t be without it. I had a lot of redness on my cheeks and was using a significant amount of concealer to hide it. After using this cleanser for JUST THREE days, the redness reduced significantly and has now disappeared. Unbelieveable result! I developed acne as an adult and for years thought I would never have good skin again. But right from the first time I used balancing cleanser I noticed a difference. Within a month my skin looked better than it had in a decade and people were asking me what I'd been doing as I looked so well! My niece is now a big fan after I gave her a tube when she developed acne and her skin looks fabulous now. I'm now able to use other cleansing products but I always have a stock of balancing cleanser and go back to it whenever my skin plays up. I would not be without it.
